MIG|SvR

Peg brings 41 years of experience combining the disciplines of landscape architecture and civil engineering to plan, design, and administer construction of environmentally responsible solutions. As an active project principal, she has participated in LID/GSI planning for several agencies across the US and Canada. She has been a design principal for over 30 LID/GSI implementation projects from the complex basin scale to volunteer community raingarden installations. These projects have been situated in urban, suburban, rural, and remote locations - along fresh, saltwater, and sensitive area environments. Peg’s LID/GSI based stormwater management systems have involved natural drainage systems, bioretention, water quality ponds, infiltration basins, rain gardens, cisterns, green roofs, permeable pavements, amended soil applications, soil cells, tree cover, and native plant restoration. She partners closely with agency planning, design and O&M staff to update approaches based on applying lessons learned. Her constant observation of LID/GSI performance under various field conditions improves the integration and acceptance of LID/GSI stormwater management practices as routine infrastructure tools. Peg and co-workers at MIG Inc. have extended their LID/GSI knowledge and lessons learned to others by giving topical presentations and leading over 220 LID/GSI field tours for government officials, public works staff, designer and engineers, international experts, students and community groups. Since 2013 Peg has managed 23 consultants as the project manager of the Joint agency Green Stormwater Infrastructure Program for Seattle and King County Waste Water Treatment Division. Peg was a contributor to the NACTO Urban Street Stormwater Guide.
