Kent Hikida, AIA is a Principal at The Switzer Group. Kent oversees projects from the inception of proposals and programming to high-quality project completion and long-term continued client relationships. He has extensive project management experience in corporate, retail and higher education designs. Known for attentive listening and problem solving, he manages fees and schedules, pre-lease services, design development, schematics, construction documents, bidding, filing and construction administration as well as post occupancy evaluation for multiple projects. Kent encourages clients to depend on him for leadership, quality as well as honesty, communication and accessibility. Kent has is also an educator who lectures on constructability, building sustainability including LEED, WELL and Fitwel, and the architect’s role in professional practice. Kent and his team is currently completing a 500,000 SF project for a major financial services firm at 30 Hudson Yards, where he brings his signature solution and service-oriented approach to management.
