John Yeap is a power sector lawyer. He has been involved in advising on greenfield project developments, joint ventures, M&A and regulatory issues relating to the power sector in Asia, Australia and the UK since 1991. For a period of 9 years John was the Director and Legal Counsel at one of Asia's largest IPPs. Over the past three years, he has been particularly active in supporting projects in the Belt & Road Initiative, having been involved in all three of the BRI projects that have successfully closed on a non recourse project finance basis.
