Prijandaru Effendi is the Chairman of Indonesia Geothermal Association (INAGA/API) for the period 2017 – 2020. He is also active in Indonesian Renewable Energy Society (METI). He earned his Bachelor Degree from Trisakti University and a Master Degree from University of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Both were in Petroleum Engineering He started his career in 1993 as a Petroleum Engineer with Asamera Oil. He was with Gulf Resources Ltd as an International Business Development Manager in 2001 and Gas Marketing Manager in 2002. Upon its acquisition by ConocoPhillips Indonesia, he was responsible for domestic and international gas sales as Gas Marketing Manager. He joined Magma Nusantara (Star Energy) in 2005 as Sr. Manager Commercial & Operation Support where he led negotiations with PT. PLN (Persero) (PLN) for the Energy Sales Contract (ESC) of the Wayang Windu Unit 2 expansion. He has been working for PT. Supreme Energy since 2007 as the VP. Relations & SHE where his main role was to lead negotiating team to conclude Power Purchase Agreement with PLN to develop Supreme Energy’s geothermal projects
