Graduated as process engineer from the technical University Dortmund, Germany, Frank Leuschke today is working in the CFB combustion technology as Product Manager at Doosan Lentjes in Ratingen, Germany. Starting in the 80-ties with his diploma thesis "Definition of combustion in the freeboard of circulating fluidized bed combustors", Frank continued to dedicate his professional life, as of now close to 30 years, to the CFB combustion technology. Working as a CFB Product Manager at Doosan Lentjes, Frank is in charge of both the CFB technology and market development. The company is the successor company of Lurgi, which filed the base patent of all today’s CFB technologies in 1976 – more than 40 years ago.
