Mervyn Cohen

Dr. Cohen grew up in South Africa and studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh. He is a board-certified pediatrician and a board-certified pediatric radiologist. He has published four books and more than 250 scientific articles. He has a special interest in childhood cancer and was Chairman of the Imaging Committee of the International Children’s Cancer Group. For many years he has had a concern about the potential harmful effects of medical imaging X-ray radiation on humans, and he is a member of Scientists for Accurate Radiation Information.
