Paul Diebold




Diebold is Assistant Director for Preservation Services, Indiana DNR – Div of Historic Preservation & Archaeology, where he is a reviewer and documenter of historic sites and buildings for the National Register of Historic Places program. He specializes in 20th-century domestic architecture of Indiana and the Midwest. He is the author of Greater Irvington and History and Architecture of Meridian-Kessler, Indy’s first neighborhood-based architectural history books. He also published Indianapolis National Register Travel Itinerary, part of the National Park Service’s Discover Our Shared Heritage series. Visit nps.gov/history/nr/travel/indianapolis.
