Shawn Gibbs
Gibbs’ areas of research are industrial hygiene and environmental exposure assessment. He is the Executive Associate Dean and Professor of Environmental Health at School of Public Health at Indiana University, maintains an appointment with the National Ebola Training and Education Center, and is Co-Principal Investigator of Biosafety and Infectious Disease Training Initiative. Gibbs was one of two individuals coordinating a multi-agency group charged with transporting Ebola patients treated in Nebraska. Methods Gibbs’s group developed for personnel protective equipment usage were widely adopted by the CDC when they updated their protocols. Email gibbss@indiana.edu.
