In 2004, Natalie made the official switch to beer when she and her husband, Vinnie, acquired the Russian River Brewing Company brand and trademarks from Vinnie’s former employer, Korbel Champagne Cellars. Prior to that move, she worked in the wine industry for 19 years at various wineries including Silver Oak Cellars, Kendall-Jackson, and Franciscan, gaining much experience that has served her well in beer. Natalie and Vinnie opened their brewpub in Downtown Santa Rosa in April of 2004 where they continue to focus on making the highest quality beer and providing their customers an excellent experience. This past year they embarked on the biggest project of their lives, completing construction in October on their new 85,000 square foot production brewery and brewpub in Windsor, California. While Vinnie focuses primarily on the beer, Natalie oversees all things related to finance, hospitality, sales, PR/marketing, human resources, and anything else that needs doing. Most recently she added bulldozer and crane operator to her resume! Natalie proudly sits on the Board of Directors for the California Craft Brewers Association, serving 2 terms as President.
