Dr. Wang is a Fellow of the prestigious Royal Society of Canada and a recipient of a PrimeTime Engineering Emmy Award. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin and chose the University of Waterloo as his research hub. Dr. Wang is world-renowned for his work on Structural Similarity and continues his legacy as a professor, research chair and the Chief Science Officer of SSIMWAVE.
