Kim Keever is SVP, Cybersecurity and Chief Information Security Officer for Cox Communications. Since joining Cox, she has built an industry-recognized security team that has implemented best practices to significantly reduce security risk. Her team is recognized for their collaborative efforts and security innovations across the industry. In addition to her work in security, she has helped drive adoption of enterprise risk management and the enhanced use of analytics to improve operations. In 2023, President Joe Biden appointed Kim to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee (NSTAC) where she works with other industry leaders to advise the White House on key aspects of communications and information infrastructure. In 2020, Kim received the Women in Technology Award presented by the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers, Women in Cable Telecommunications and Cablefax. This award recognizes one woman each year who has contributed to the advancement of the cable telecommunications industry. In 2019, she was the Information Security Executive (ISE) of the Year for the Southeast Region and North America in the Commercial category. Kim was a named one of the most powerful women in cable by Cablefax from 2017-2020. Prior to joining Cox, Kim served as the Vice President of Information Security and Controls for Coca-Cola Refreshments and as CISO for the Bottling Investments Group. Kim also served as Chief Information Officer at Invesco Retirement Plan Services. Kim serves on the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business advisory board. She is a technology board advisor for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and an executive advisor to the WICT Southeast Chapter. She also serves on the Cox National Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Council.
