Mr. Young is a Founding Principal of Cokinos Young and is at the helm of the firm’s Austin, Texas office. He heads the firm’s Tort Litigation Section and handles a wide variety of claims ranging from product liability, construction defects, premises liability, commercial disputes and professional liability. He is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law and he has tried over 100 cases in state and federal court, arbitrated many construction cases, and continues to try and arbitrate a significant number of cases each year while remaining active within the defense bar by writing, speaking and chairing important committees and subcommittees, including the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC). He has been named a Texas Super Lawyer from 2006-2017, while also having an AV Preeminent peer- review rating by Martindale-Hubbell. His construction knowledge and expertise extends to matters relating to Construction, Trucking and Transportation Law, including death and serious injuries. His depth of experience also includes handling matters for clients involving OSHA compliance and violations.
