Yousef joined the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) in November 2017, in a newly-created role as Manager, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP). With the passage of Measure M in November 2016, a no sunset transportation sales tax that is estimated to generate $120 billion in revenue over the next 40 years, Yousef is responsible for leading the development and implementation of America’s largest transportation PPP program. Yousef is currently working on bringing three multi-billion transit projects to market: the West Santa Ana Transit Corridor LRT, Sepulveda Pass Transit Corridor and the East San Fernando Valley Transit Corridor. Prior to joining LA Metro, Yousef spent seven years working for PPP Canada, formerly a Federal Government of Canada Crown Corporation, providing expertise and advice in assessing and executing over 12 P3 projects at all levels of governments, ranging from water/wastewater, public transit, local roads and energy-from-waste.
