A New Jersey native, upon moving to Florida, Mike Cicchetti began his teaching career at Galaxy Middle School and continued teaching there for 5 phenomenal years. During my time at GMS, he taught Art, Critical Thinking & Organization, and Exploring Communications Technology. He attended Stetson University and earned his Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a certificate in Ed. Leadership. Since September of 2012, Mike has worked as both a Specialist and now Coordinator for our Learning Technologies department, a subset of Technology Services & Innovation. His vision for Learning Technologies is to instill an acceptance of technology, merge learned technology with real-world/classroom application, and be open to a creative, collaborative mindset.
