James Russo is currently the Senior Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Orange County Public Schools. His work now focuses on PreK-12 instruction, professional development, and the implementation of practices that impact student learning. Before moving into his current role, James served as an elementary and secondary principal, assistant principal and classroom teacher. While in his role of principal he had the privilege of being a part of the initial cohort pilot of the 1:1 blended learning initiative, took part in establishing a new Cambridge magnet program, and had his school recognized as a model for flipped learning.
