Laura Shaver

Laura Shaver received her Bachelor’s Degree from Tennessee Technological University in Elementary Education in 2004. From there, she taught a mix of middle and elementary grade levels for a combined 8 years. She received her Master’s Degree from Tennessee Technological University in Library Science in 2008. She began working in the Prescott South Elementary STEM Platform School Library in 2012 and has been there since. She has served as the technology coordinator for the school as part of her media specialist qualifications. She has lead several trainings for her county’s Library/Media Specialist Professional Learning Community on the usage of technology, STEM, and maker-space stations within the library program. She currently resides in Cookeville, TN.
