Rosie Sears
Paramedic
East Midlands Ambulance Service
Rosie Sears is a Paramedic working for East Midlands Ambulance Service covering the Midlands area of the UK. She started her career as an A&E Clinician in 2008 and completed her DipHE in Paramedic Science at the University of Northampton in 2011. Rosie Registered as a Paramedic in 2011 with the HCPC and has since returned to the University of Northampton in 2014 to complete her BSc in Professional Practice and Emergency Care. Rosie has been mentoring newly qualified Paramedics, university students, and European Paramedics since 2013. In 2017 she completed the MTFA responder course with the National Ambulance Resilience Unit, which has allowed her to work as part of the Ambulance Intervention team. Completing this training has provided Rosie with specialist PPE that permits her to attend a marauding terrorist firearms attack; presently a great risk in the UK. Rosie currently works on the Fast Response Vehicle in the Midlands and carries a LUCAS2 device for the area.
