Wanda Coley

Wanda Coley is Vice President of Strategy for UnitedHealthcare Medicare and Retirement of NC, Mid-Atlantic and Pennsylvania/Delaware regions. In this role, Wanda is responsible for developing and executing market-specific strategy that prioritizes local initiatives to drive business growth. Other responsibilities include leading clinical innovation and fostering community partnerships. Wanda joined UnitedHealthcare in 2019 from Well Care Health in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she served almost 20 years in a variety of roles. In her most recent role as president and chief operating officer, Wanda oversaw the enterprise’s 13 regional offices across North and South Carolina, leading operations, directing strategic initiatives, and managing the executive team. Some of her other previous roles include controller, financial coordinator, and accounting specialist. Wanda earned a B.S. in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Webster University. As an active member of her personal and professional communities, she is a Chief member and currently serves on the board of YWCA Lower Cape Fear, WILMA Advisory Board, UNCW Alumni Board, UNCW College of Health & Human Services Advisory Board and Board Development Committee for Girl Scouts of NC Coastal Pines. She is a past member of the National Association for Home Care and Hospice Financial Managers Advisory Board, North Carolina Association for Home and Hospice Care Board and Enterprise Fleet
