Tom George is the CEO of SaraniaSat, a company developing a combined hardware/software solution for satellite-based, hyperspectral imaging, remote sensing for precision agriculture and defense applications. SaraniaSat was selected recently by NASA for its proposed Hyperspectral Thermal Imager (HyTI) Low Earth Orbit space mission. Tom has expertise in micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and nanotechnology materials devices and system development, as well as in semiconductor device fabrication and packaging. He previously held senior and executive positions at the NASA/JPL advanced Microdevices Laboratory, ViaLogy LLC, Zyomed Corp., Chromologic LLC, National Semiconductor Corporation and Researcher Intel Corporation and has been a Visiting Research Professor at the Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan.
