I am a Portland native, born into a world of innovation and design from an early age. Growing up around my father's Will Vinton’s Studios, I learned an appreciation for production, design and innovation. Some of my earliest jobs were in design roles at agencies Fashion Buddha, Curiosity, and Black Jacket Studios. I founded my first company, Mammoth Studios, upon graduating from high school, and produced custom mobile apps, games and APIs for a range of local businesses. Later I developed a passion for film, where I went on to direct, shoot and produce work for some of the country's largest music festivals, including Electric Forest and Snow Globe Music. In addition to my work with dotdotdash, I am an alumni and mentor at the Portland Incubator Experiment (PIE) and founder of No Vacancy, a Portland-based art and music showcase, through which I have booked some of the biggest names in dance music. I am also a member of the Global Redesign Institute, an organization that aims to promote global sustainability and a healthier planet through applied use of technology. I have a deep understanding of software development, event production and interactive design. My multidisciplinary set of design skills and tools allows me to design unique sets, interaction, interfaces and media. I use new technology to create wonder and demonstrate the importance of technology in human lives. I have directed some of the first public VR and AR activations for the worlds largest brands.
