Kate Higbee is the Director of Guest Experiences at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago, where she creates memorable museum experiences that foster curiosity, wonder and fun. Kate directs over 100 staff and 400 volunteers in guest engagement, program development, staff training, interpretation, public science events and customer service. Kate specializes in transforming traditional way finding and guard roles to diverse, multi-purpose, facilitators, as well as significant experience in change management, culture development, strategic planning and team leadership. Kate has an M.A.T in Museum Education from The George Washington University.
