Bryan Sieling
Associate Director, Office of Project Management and Planning Assistant Director
National Museum of African American History & Culture
Leading up to the opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture in 2016, Bryan Sieling served as Chief of Design, overseeing the exhibition design process for the inaugural exhibitions, their coordination with the base building architecture, and their fabrication and installation in the new building. Since opening, Sieling has served as Associate Director for Project Management and Planning and Assistant Director for Exhibition Design and Production. Bryan earned a Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies with a focus in exhibition and set design from The George Washington University in 1989. Preceding his work with NMAAHC, Sieling was Chief of Design for the Newseum’s expansion and relocation from Arlington, Va. to Washington D.C. and Exhibition Design Manager at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History.
