Senior Manager, Marketing & Experience Transformation
Universal Orlando Resort
Sean is a graduate of the University of Michigan with over 13 years of experience as a creative thinking Industrial Engineer leading work in game-changing technology. Sean began his career doing telematics (in-vehicle electronics) research at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI) before becoming a Cast Member at the Walt Disney World Resort. Initially focused on labor forecasting and workload at Disney, Sean spent several years working on technology solutions to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve the Guest Experience. In 2011, Sean joined the NextGen or NGE team (now MyMagic+) where he played a key role in the design and implementation of Disney’s FastPass+. Afterwards, Sean joined Disney’s Guest Experience Center (GEC) where his team leveraged MagicBand data to further improve the Guest Experience thru analytics. In 2016, Sean joined Universal Orlando Resort as a Senior Manager of Marketing and Experience Transformation. There, Sean currently manages a portfolio of products aimed at enhancing the Guest Experience. These products include, Virtual Line, Universal Pay, Universal Dine Plan, and My Universal Photos. In this role, Sean was thrilled to be part of his first park opening, Universal’s Volcano Bay. Sean is an avid theme park enthusiast, a tinkerer, and lover of the outdoors.
