Wes Walker is the Director of Corporate Safety and Security for the Santa Cruz Seaside Company, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, in Santa Cruz California. He is charged with ensuring the safety and security of the Boardwalk’s 1500 employees and 4 million annual guests. Under his direction are the uniformed security, investigations, intelligence and threat assessment, risk management, first aid and emergency preparedness. Wes is currently serving his second term on the IAAPA Facility Operations Committee and is a regular speaker at the IAAPA Convention. Wes currently served on the board of directors for the California Association of Licensed Security Agencies. Prior to his position with the Seaside Company, Wes served over 20 years in the military and law enforcement. Wes has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
