Jeff Poulard has served as the Associate Commissioner, Compliance and Governance/Chief DEI Officer at the BIG EAST Conference Office since June 2023. There he oversees day-to-day NCAA compliance and governance matters, NIL concerns and spearheads the Conference’s efforts in developing innovative DEI programs and partnerships and helps create inclusive environments on member school campuses. Prior to his time at the BIG EAST, he came from Rutgers University where he served as Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and DEI as well as a sport administrator. He has also served in roles at Xavier University, the University of Maryland, Howard University, The Atlantic-10 Conference, the NCAA Office of Legal Affairs and the College of William & Mary where he was a 2012 graduate of its School of Law. His undergraduate degree is from American University in Justice & Public Policy.
