Brown arrived at IPTAY in August 2022 and currently serves as the organization's first ever Chief Operations Officer. Brown arrived at IPTAY after serving as the Deputy Director of Athletics at his alma mater, the University of New Hampshire. As COO of IPTAY, Brown is a key member of the IPTAY executive team, focused on developing and maintaining positive and productive relationships with key internal and external constituents, assisting the CEO in strategic planning and goal setting, and advising the CEO on all operational‐related issues. Brown works closely with the Board of Directors and represents IPTAY on various department, University, and affiliate organization committees. He is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, as well as spearheading strategic initiatives and special projects to best position the organization for continued growth and success. As Deputy Director of Athletics at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), Brown was responsible for department-wide administration, specifically the direct oversight of both internal and external operations. Prior to UNH, Brown spent 11 years at Army West Point, most recently as the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations from 2019-21. Brown currently serves on the CEFMA (Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association) Board of Directors which he was appointed to in the spring of 2018. He will serve as the association's president during the 2024-2025 academic year. Brown grew up in an Army family and, upon completion of high school, attended the University of New Hampshire, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He earned a master’s degree in Sport Leadership from Northeastern University in 2018. Brown and his wife Stephanie are proud parents of daughter, Kieran (5) and son, Landon (2).
