Jimmy Skiles (UCF '06) began his most recent tenue at UCF in March 2014 as Assistant Athletics Director, Fan Development. In February 2018 he was named Associate Athletics Director of Brand Advancement with oversight of the #Content, Discovery and Experiential Innovation Teams. Skiles returned to his alma mater after nearly four years with Virginia Tech Athletics Marketing and Promotions where he served as Director of Marketing and Promotions (2012-2014) and Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions (2011-2012). Prior to Virginia Tech, Skiles was the Assistant Director of Marketing and Promotions at UCF for three-and-half years. Skiles also gained valuable experience serving as an intern at the Conference USA offices and as a graduate assistant at the University of Florida. Skiles graduated from UCF with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2006. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Sports Management from the University of Florida in 2007.
