Ryan Leonard oversees Avangrid Renewables participation in the WECC for 20+ renewable energy facilities and one gas-fired generation facility, representing a combined installed capacity of approximately 3,100 megawatts. In addition, Ryan is also involved in state, local, and federal policy issues to help ensure proper representation of the renewable energy sector. Ryan joined Avangrid Renewables in 2014. Prior to joining Avangrid Renewables, Ryan was the Senior Manager of Market Quality for MISO where he was responsible for market disputes and settlement change implementation. While at MISO, Ryan played an integral role in the launch of the MISO Energy-only and Ancillary Services Markets. Ryan started his career at Accenture as a consultant. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
