Alex has been working in the wind industry since he graduated with a degree in Physics from Imperial College London and a Masters in Engineering for Sustainable Development from Cambridge in 2004. After a brief spell at the British Wind Energy Association he joined Garrad Hassan in the UK in 2005. Moving to the US in 2007, Alex has either analyzed or assisted the development of over 35 GW of wind projects both pre-construction wind resource assessments and operational portfolio analyses. Alex joined Prevailing Analysis in early 2014 to head up the North American team and the US office. Prevailing were founded in 2009 in the UK and support developers, lenders and investors in all aspects of wind farm analysis and assessment including early design and layout, financial grade energy assessment, mast data download and management, acquisition support and operational analysis
