As the CEO of the German amusement park BELANTIS Erwin Linnenbach is still quite a newcomer in the business. Before he became the head of central Germany’s biggest theme park three years ago he has been working in the media sector for over twenty years, having been the CEO of several radio networks. In his previous function he was one of the founders of BELANTIS which had opened in 2003 and ever since he has been chairman of the shareholders board. His experience in the fields of General Management and Marketing in different business sectors turns out to be very valuable for his current role. Within three years at the top of the company he has managed to create a dynamic development of BELANTIS which led to the result, that the company in 2016 recorded the most successful year in its history. For the near future Erwin’s goal is to take advantage of the positive trend in order to lead the company on a successful course in the long term. Digital transformation, a year-round business or the creation of accommodation, are just some of the major issues that are currently in the focus of the company.
