Jennifer Wells




Jennifer, State Bridge Inspection Engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation – Bridge Office, has been an engineer with MnDOT for the past 15 years. The last 10 have been spent in fracture critical bridge inspection and the last five years in bridge design and bridge standards. Jennifer has a BSCE from Michigan Tech University and an MSCE from the University of Minnesota. She is a licensed civil engineer, NBIS Team Leader, and SPRAT Level 1 rope access technician. The MnDOT Bridge Office Inspection Unit is responsible for managing the Minnesota bridge inspection program and conducting fracture critical inspections statewide on both the state and local system. She is currently on mobility in Metro Bridge programming and scoping projects till December.
