Janelle L. Madzia is an OSHA Compliance Officer for the Cleveland Area OSHA Office. She has been in the Cleveland office for 8.5 year performing over 280 safety and health inspections. 19 inspections resulting in significant or novel cases. Along with being a Compliance Officer she is a member of the Regional Emergency Response Team for OSHA Region V. She holds several certifications from FEMA. Prior to working for OSHA, various positions were held in health and safety. Including, working for the Cuyahoga County Board of Health and U.S. Public Health Service stationed in Atlanta, Georgia at the Center for Disease Control. She also did a study abroad in Ethiopia inspecting and monitoring US and UK owned factories. Janelle has a Bachelor Degree in Health and Human Services from Bowling Green State University majoring in Environmental Health with an Emphasis on Industrial Hygiene.
