Dr. Maria is a dynamic leader in ergonomics and safety culture change. She earned a doctoral degree from the University of Southern California in Organizational Change & Leadership where she conducted an exploratory study on employee engagement in organizational injury-prevention programs. She holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology.
