Paul Giles has been the Chief Financial Officer in Homecare during the past 38 years with total experience in Homecare finance and operations for over 41 years. His current responsibilities include assistance in financial oversight and operations within all Dignity Health Homecare locations in collaboration with Homecare and Hospital Management. Mr. Giles has extensive experience within the areas of Homecare information systems, Medicare/Medicaid Home Health and Hospice reimbursement and Managed Care. Prior to joining Dignity Health, Mr. Giles was the CFO for various Visiting Nurse Associations including the VNA of Inland Counties, the VNA of Orange County and the VNA of Los Angeles. One large accomplishment at all three organizations was an automated Pay per Visit system whereby clinical staff were compensated on the basis of visits performed which enhanced clinical efficiency while reducing the cost of services provided. Paul has been and continues to be involved with local and national organizations such as CAHSAH (California Association of Health Services at Home), CHA (California Hospital Association), VNAA and NAHC. He currently serves on the Medicare and Managed Care committees at CAHSAH, on the Board of Directors for the Post Acute Care division of CHA and the Finance Advisory Board of Directors for NAHC. He is an occasional speaker for these organizations and others on such topics as Homecare Medicare reimbursement, Managed Care and related financial operations.
