Eddie is currently the deputy chief of EMS for Goochland County (VA) Department of Fire-Rescue and Emergency Services and has over 35 years of combined volunteer and career service. He holds certifications as a national registered paramedic; critical care paramedic; OEMS EMS Educator; ACLS and PHTLS Instructor; and numerous other certifications. Eddie currently serves as the state president of Virginia Association of Governmental EMS Administrators (VAGEMSA). Prior to joining Goochland County, he spent nearly 17 years with Chesterfield Fire and EMS as a career firefighter/paramedic, technical rescue team member, and a flight paramedic with Virginia State Police Med-Flight.
