Dr. Tony Krug has taught graduate teacher education at Johnson University since 2007. Earlier work was with the Appalachian College Association (Richmond KY), Carson-Newman University (Jefferson City TN), Bethany College (Bethany WV), Maryville University-St. Louis (St. Louis MO), and Wabash Valley College (Mt. Carmel IL). He holds the Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University (Carbondale IL), and the M.L.S. and B.A. from Indiana State University (Terre Haute IN). With 45 years of experience in emerging technologies, he has consulted in the US, Canada, and New Zealand. He is working with Hackaballs, Internet of Things devices, the uses of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in education, Chromebook use in the schools, Game-Based Learning and gamification used for instruction, educational developments using iPads, and the deployment of web-based services in the classroom. Dr. Krug, his wife, and youngest daughter live in Seymour TN. He dotes on 3 grandchildren from his 3 adult children.
