Dr. Robin K. Franklin is a Professor in the SOE at Charleston Southern University. She received her bachelor of science in Elementary Education (K-8) from Carson –Newman University, her master’s of education in supervision/administration from University of Richmond, and her Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, she has endorsements and certifications in gifted education and administration from University of Virginia. Prior to becoming a Charleston Southern University professor, Dr. Franklin served over 15 years in public school education as both teacher and administrator. She continues developing partnerships with local school districts via grants, onsite instruction, and faculty workshops. In addition, she presents at local, regional, national and international levels.
