Lower School S.T.E.M./MakerSpace Teacher
'Iolani School (Hawaii)
P. Matthew Dillon began teaching in 1986, after completing a MA in Curriculum and Teaching Childhood and Elementary Education from Columbia University-Teachers College. He has taught kdg-5th grade self-contained classes in public schools in NY, and TX. Moving to Hawaii in 2010, Dillon worked at Island Pacific School as an elementary science teacher and a pre-K through 5th grade Engineering & Design Teacher/Science Coordinator. In 2014, Matthew moved to 'Iolani School to become the first S.T.E.M./FabLab teacher for the Lower School. He has presented at FETC 2017, Stanford University's FabLearn 2015 & 2016, Schools of the Future (HI) in 2013 and 2015, the NSTA S.T.E.M. Forum in 2015. He also presented at ATLIS 2016
