Jeff is a Microsoft engineering leader focused on empowering *every person* to achieve more through accessible and innovative, inclusively designed experiences. Jeff works with users permanent and situational disabilities, including vision, hearing, mobility and cognitive disabilities; Microsoft engineering teams; and partners to make computers easier to use. Jeff focuses on evolving the Windows platform and enabling delightful screen reading experiences across devices. He is also passionate about improving learning outcomes by making it easier for people of all abilities to read and write. He led the team that won Microsoft’s global hackathon with what Forbes described in 2016 as “one of the most disruptive education technologies yet.” The Learning Tools envisioned by the hackathon team are currently available in products including Microsoft Office Lens, OneNote and Word and are being incorporated into additional Microsoft products. Jeff is a husband, dad to two great kids and a Seattle Seahawks fan.
