David French is the principal at GlenwoodElementary School in Virginia Beach, VA. Glenwood ES is a Virginia Beach Digital Learning School K-5. Students learn using digital tools in personalized environments. He is the 2012 recipient of the Virginia Dept. Of Education Technology Leadership Award, and was a Digital Learning Day State Webinar presenter. The 2015 Virginia Beach, Principal of the Year, he also serves as member of the Digital Learning Steering Committee, and works with Tidewater Area school divisions to provide professional development for Digital Leadership. He is currently working with 15 schools to assist in digital conversion.
