Cassie Palelis is the Elementary Mathematics Content Specialist for the Bureau of Standards and Instructional Support at the Florida Department of Education. In this role, she works with schools and districts across Florida to develop and support their elementary mathematics teaching. She has taught first, third and fourth grade in Polk and Pinellas County.
