Renton Prep
Emmy Sung is a 14-year old student who attends Renton Prep Christian School. Her work with Maya Angelou’s, I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, was highlighted on Microsoft’s live stream called “Hack the Classroom”, a way to share non-traditional schooling through STEAM to worldwide educators. Emmy Sung has also presented at the 2017 Business Launchpad in Renton, Washington. She spoke about some of the previous projects she had done, as well as an introduction to artificial intelligence and the influence of HoloLens in the classroom. Emmy Sung is specifically interested in the film and production industry. She was invited to shadow LA Film Industry experts at Seattle Film Summit in December 2017. She has worked on many school assignments involving this use of technology and wants to further her understanding of this matter, as it will play a big role in the future of education.
