Toni Owens is a biology teacher at Fordland High School (MO) and graduated from Drury University with a bachelor of science in Biology and received her Master's of Arts degree in education from Missouri State University in 2014. This is her 8th year of teaching high school science. The past 2 years, she has also served as an Instructional Technology Coach to the middle and high school staff. Her passion in the classroom stems from a desire to connect classroom content to real-world applications for her students. Working at a school district that values instructional technology has allowed her to grow professionally by working as an instructional technology coach helping the staff integrate new and unique ways to use technology to enhance and support the curriculum. Over the past 3 years, the entire district has made great strides in integrating technology into all areas of teaching and learning.
