Valerie Cochara teaches middle school Social Studies in Fordland, Missouri. Fordland is a small rural town east of Springfield with more cows than people. After 19 years in the classroom the FETC conference in 2015 completely changed her classroom and teaching methods. Technology was always something SHE thought she used but learned there was more out that would revolutionize her classroom and the entire district. Now she uses part of her day teaching other teachers about how to pull that new technology into their own lessons.
