I am the STEM Coordinator at Christ the King Catholic School in Jacksonville, Florida. I was a middle school science teacher for the previous 17 years. I teach hands on STEM lessons integrated into NGSS standards, to K-8 students. I have also developed the curriculum and safety standards for our Engineering lab and STEM based projects. I have worked extensively with the elementary teachers over the past 4 years to develop our engineering and STEM program. I collaborate with middle school teachers weekly to develop and implement a yearly Universal Mission Project as well as the annual middle school science fair projects. I was also a member of the Accreditation Steering Committee that lead to Christ the King becoming the first STREAM Certifiied Catholic School in the State of Florida.
