Jason has been in education for over 14 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University. He is principal of Pasco County’s first ever magnet school, Sanders Memorial Elementary, a STEAM Magnet! This was a new adventure that was to provide students with a unique take on 21st century learning. Mr. Petry believes that all children can learn but each learns in a different way and at different rates. When we keep 21st century learning a priority with positive team relationships, students first mentality, giving students voice and choice in their learning and safe risk taking(failing forward) our ideals will lead to everyone's success.
