Dr. Andrea J. Harmer is currently Chair of the Library Science & Instructional Technology Department at Kutztown University, where she teaches Instructional Technology to pre-service and professional educators. She is also part time Director of Online Instruction and Educational Outreach in Lehigh University’s Materials Science & Engineering Department, where for the past thirty-six years, she has interacted with many international scientists from varying disciplines. Professor Harmer currently lives in Pennsylvania, but spends her weekends in NJ with her husband, Martin, and their dog, Bandit, the inspiration for Buckydog and hero of both her children’s books. She is an avid sports fisherwoman, loves exploring new technologies and still reads real books!
