Paul E. Rivet is currently the director of entertainment and costuming for Walt Disney Attractions Japan, Ltd. In his role, he collaborates with the Tokyo Disney Resort owners and operators, the Oriental Land Company, to co-develop innovative entertainment show products in an effort to elevate The Walt Disney Company’s brand and franchises in the region. Paul is currently working on the development of a new indoor theater at Tokyo Disneyland and the creative content for the venue itself, as well as advising the development of all shows, events, spectaculars, and collaborations at Tokyo Disney Resort. Over the course of his career with The Walt Disney Company, Paul has developed retail events for Disney California Adventure Park, served as the manager of entertainment production for Disneyland Park. He has also served as the entertainment director at Aulani, a Disney Resort in Oahu, Hawaii for four years, guiding the resort through the grand opening and a large-scale construction phase. Prior to joining the Walt Disney Company, Paul studied at California State University, Los Angeles, and earned his masters in business administration from the University of California, Irvine. He has also worked with Universal Studios Japan to adapt the Broadway production of Wicked for a theme park.
