Erika is passionate about communication technologies that engage and inspire action. With previously successful careers as a writer, producer, and director, she understands the importance of deep engagement in any communication, especially video. Disappointed with digital video’s inability to rise to its potential, Erika started Rapt Media. Since 2011, Erika has worked to build a business that is positioned at the top of emerging video technologies, providing interactive communication solutions to enterprise companies. In addition to sharing the stage with tech luminaries like Sheryl Sandberg, Erika has solidified an A-list customer portfolio including powerhouse companies like PwC, Aon Hewitt, Johnson & Johnson, Aetna, General Motors, and AT&T. Before starting Rapt Media, Erika ran an Emmy-winning production company, Outlier Films, and worked as an award-winning documentary filmmaker and investigative reporter. Her work has appeared on "60 Minutes," The New York Times, PBS, and others. Erika has a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, and a master's degree from University of California, Berkeley.
