Dr. Sam Feagley

Dr. Sam Feagley is Professor and State Soil Environmental Specialist in the Soil and Crop Sciences Department at Texas A&M University. He received his B.S. in chemistry and M.S. in soil fertility from Texas A&M and Ph.D. in soil chemistry from University of Missouri. Dr. Feagley has received the Irrometer Award and is an Agronomy Fellow. Dr. Feagley is known nationally and internationally for his research in nutrient management from organic and inorganic nutrient applications, land reclamation of surface mined lands, saline/sodic soil remediation, and revision of the Texas Phosphorus Index. Dr. Feagley has also authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Feagley has received numerous teaching awards including his latest in 2015 as Texas A&M AgriLife Vice Chancellor’s Award in Excellence – Teaching and ASA Agronomy Resident Education Award 2016.
